Sterilizer, stainless steel by Allen and Hanburys, English, 1935-1960

Sterilizers are used to destroy infection-causing bacteria on instruments and medical equipment by boiling the objects in water. This sterilizer is made of stainless steel and will not rust. It also contains a linen bag which may have also been used to hold the medical equipment that was being sterilized.
