Doyen's myoma screw, for use per vaginam, by Ash of Birmingham, steel, nickel plated, early 20th century, relic of Dr. Christopher Martin

A myoma is a benign (non-cancerous) tumour in the muscle of the uterus. A myoma screw is used in surgery to remove such fibroids. The fibroid is ‘screwed’ and clamped before removal.
