More
The Pathescope Ace 9.5mm hand cranked projector was launched in the 1930s and was continuously on sale until Pathescope folded in 1960. It was affordable and easy to use as the film was held in cassettes which attached to a holder on top of the projector. During operation, the film wound into a lower chamber and was rewound using a handle at the end of the show. The Ace was manufactured in England and primarily aimed at the UK market, it was not marketed in France, the home of Pathe.
