Dekko 9.5 amateur cine camera with Ross f1.9 lens by Ross, London, serial no. 137586, c. 1939

The clockwork motor has variable speeds of eight, 16 and 64 frames per second as well as a single frame facility. The camera has a direct vision optical finder with frames marked for 20mm, 25mm and 75mm lenses and a rotary footage counter. The Dekko was a neat, spring-driven camera and could give a speed of up to 64 frames per second, making it ideal for family use.
