A lithographic poster for the Pantomimes Lumineuses Théâtre Optique of Emile Reynaud, by Jules Cheret in 1892.

The Pantomimes Lumineuses were long transparent bands containing pictures painted by Reynaud, which were projected using his device called the Théâtre Optique. They were presented at the Musée Grévin in Paris between 28 October 1892 and 28 February 1900.
