Moxa or Artemisia vulgaris is a plant that, once dried, can be burnt in a treatment known as moxibustion. Used in Traditional Chinese Medicine, moxibustion is believed to stimulate the flow of the life force known as qi (chi) around the body, something considered essential for wellbeing and good health.
