Wooden tripod used by Le Prince in Leeds during his experiments for the production of moving pictures
This tripod was used by Louis Le Prince to support his single-lens camera in 1888, with which he filmed arguably the earliest moving film footage in the world - Roundhay Garden Scene, Leeds Bridge and Accordion Player in Leeds.
