Neovit Elixir for children was advertised as “a body building tonic for the young”. Containing vitamins to promote healthy growth, the tonic was especially recommended for children recovering from illness or operations. It was fruit flavoured to encourage them to take the tonic. Neovit was manufactured by Rybar Laboratories Ltd and would have been available ‘over the counter’ from pharmacists.
