Brown glass bottle of "Eticyclin" tablets, by Ciba Laboratories Ltd., English

‘Eticyclin’ is a combined oestrogen and progestin contraceptive pill. Oestrogen and progestin are hormones. They regulate many functions of the body. These include growth and reproduction. Such hormones are also used medically to compensate for low levels of natural hormones, for example to promote growth. They are extracted from animals or manufactured synthetically. ‘Eticyclin’ is made by Ciba Laboratories in England.
