Bottle of penicillin lozenges, England, 1949

1x50 bottle of penicillin lozenges, calcium salt (benzylpenicillin sodium?), by Burroughs Wellcome, 1949
The bottle would have contained fifty lozenges of penicillin made by Burroughs Wellcome & Co, but they have now separated into tiny pink granules. To take the medication, a lozenge was placed between the cheek and gum and allowed to dissolve slowly.
