More

Halibut oil is a rich source of vitamins A and D. Vitamin A helps support the immune system and eye sight and vitamin D supports bone growth by regulating the amount of calcium and phosphate in the body. Vitamin D is known as the 'sunshine' vitamin as sunlight triggers vitamin D production in our skin. In darker months, with less daylight hours, vitamin D production is supported by diet, such as oily fish, and by supplements. The advertising for Crookes' Halycalyne assured customers that by taking their supplements regularly 'you'll have an inner armour with which to ward off winter's ills and ailments.'
