16oz amber glass dispensing bottle of Pavacol (papaverine hydrochloride, codeine phosphate, balsam of tolu, oil of clove, oil of peppermint, chloroform and theriaca), approximately three-quarters full of contents. 190 mm x 75 mm diameter, 795g. Label reads, ' Medically approved for the treatement of Coughs, Acute and Chronic Bronchitis, and for the relief of respiratory affections.' Manufactured by Ward Blenkinsop and Co., English, 1940-1965.
