Square glass dispensing bottle of 'Diarrhoea Powder'. 125 mm x 46 mm x 46 mm, 204g. Due to the fact that opium was a commonly used remedy for diarrhea, it is likely this bottle contains this drug. Handwritten notes on chemists label reads, 'SAVORY & MOORE,/ Chemists to the Queen and H.R.H. the Prince of Wales,/ DIARRHEOA POWDER/ One teaspoonful after each/liquid motion, in water, with/ a few drops of Essence of/ Peppermint and (illegible)...'.
