Wooden field medical pannier, ironbound, in fair condition, with compartments in lid, tray and body of chest for dressings and drugs, contains 1 pottery mortar and 3 pestles, 10 absorbent pads, 21 packets of dressings, 15 bandages, 1 enamelled container, 31 labelled glass bottles, 17 yellow tins of pills, 2 tins of Plaster of Paris bandages, 12 boxesof ampoules, 7 glass phials of drugs, a broken jar and 3 other containers with unidentified contents, used by the German Army in the First World War, German, 1901-1915
