Vacuum-vapourised thin metal film: specimens of materials, four different items on green back board. The top two are gold and aluminium, both are small bars with labels underneath. The next one down is a roll of carrier film, with the label "Carrier film (the rolls are 40" wide)". The final item is a Model 8,500 time actual size, showing relative thickness of metal deposit and .0005 inch polyester film.
