Transmitting airflow indicator for use with automatic observer. Uses automatic transmition of angle of wool tufts.

This device transmits the direction of the airflow detected by the wool tuft by means of potentiometers to two dial indicators situated in the automatic observer. The dials indicate the direction of airflow in terms of pitch and azimuth directly, thus eliminating much laborious measurement of the tuft angles from film.
