Prototype air speed unit
Prototype air speed unit, Type B. Used with Westland Whirlwind helicopter.
Designed in IAP Department and built in RAE workshops. It was used as part of an automatic flight control and flight director system for automatic approach experiments in a Whirlwind helicopter, circa 1958-64.
