Modification of a three pointer altimeter presentation

Modification of a three pointer altimeter presentation to attempt to eliminate an inherent fault whereby a misreading can occur when pointers are obscured.

This is an attempt to eliminate the inherent fault in the three pointer altimeter presentation wherby a misreading can occur when one pointer is obscured by another.

By using different coloured discs for the various height ranges of the pointers and insuring that the pointers painted on the discs cannot cover one another, it is one form of solution offered to resolve this problem.

This altimeter also incorporates a warning liht which can be arranged to be illuminated when a preset altitude is reached during descent.
