Platelayer's trolley, London & North Eastern Railway/British Railways, petrol driven, made by Wickham, permanent-way inspection trolley, No 960209, 1931.
The Wickham trolley was used to transport railway workers. It was driven to parts of the railway that needed repairs. Workers would also have used a small truck behind the Wickham trolley where they would have kept their tools.
