Trackside sign, cast iron, Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway, Public Notice, 'All persons are warned not to trespass', white on black, c1900.

The full text of this notice reads:

"All persons are hereby warned not to trespass on this railway or on any statin or other works lands or property of the Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway Co. Every person so trespassing after this warning will be prosecuted and will be liable under section 36 of the Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway Act 1884 to a penalty not exceeding forty shillings. BY ORDER.
