Telegraph block instrument; BR. Standard modularised 2-needle absolute (Down/Up Fast Line; traffolyte-plated) 3-position type, with a white black-arrowed bakelite wedge as commutator, tapper/blockbell unit underneath, and an improvised metal base-plate. The case is made of plastic. Known as a 'Penguin'.
