Telegraph block instrument; Great Northern Railway (GNR). Pegging/non-pegging absolute 2-needle (top electrically/bottom mechanically operated) 3-position/3-indication. Has circular indented-edge bakelite-commutator and bell-tapper to RHS; the bell-dome assembly is mounted on metal bracket on top of the instrument. A GNR ivorine plate inscribed "To Crews Hill" is attached to the front top edge of instrument.
