London Brighton & South Coast Railway Sack Barrow

Sack Barrow, London Brighton & South Coast Railway. Two-wheeled, re-built in 1987. From Haywards Heath Station.

A variety of different size trolleys and barrows were needed to transport passenger luggage or goods safely around the station. As the railways could be asked to carry virtually anything, this wheeled transport needed to be robust and versatile to ensure the goods remained undamaged while moving around the station.
