Locomotive headlamp, British Railways (Eastern Region), standard eastern pattern, painted white, no markings on expanding cone but body stamped ‘BR E 5 F 51’, reservoir and burner missing, internal red glass missing but glass holder present but not fixed in place, evidence of a second knob on the offside of the body, used to produce a purple light for trains operating out of Liverpool Street station, manufacturer unknown.
