This station, also known as Llanfairpwll or Llanfairpwllgwyngyll is in Anglesey, Wales is famous due to its long name. Translated the name means: The Church of St Mary in the hollow of the white hazel near the rapid whirlpool and the church of St Tysilio near a red cave. The station's full name was devised as a Victorian publicity stunt in 1869 to encourage more tourists to the area.
