Clock Movement for Turret Clock
Chunky, square metal frame with several axles supporting nine cogs. Clock movement, for turret clock, pendulum, with auto-wind, from London St Pancras Station, by E J Dent, London, c1872. The frame is painted forest green, with the inscription "E DENT & CO LTD LONDON" in relief at front. There is a small clock face (for reference whilst winding) mounted on the frame. It is comprised of a brass coloured metal ring upon which are painted the numbers 1-12. The hands are mounted on an inset gold coloured cog, and are black with stylised 'arrow' tips.
