Salver, rectangular silver plate, presented to the Southern Railway Officer's Mess to mark Nationalisation, engraved with SR coat of arms and 'Presented to the Chief Officers of the Southern Railway, by the Directors of the Company on its transfer to Public Ownership. 31st December 1947'.
