Oil painting, Harrogate by Septimus E Scott. Depicts a scene in Valley Gardens, Harrogate. An elderly man, self portrait of Scott, sits in a deckchair smoking a cigar and talking to a young couple. The woman carries a tennis racket under her left arm, the man holds a cigarette in his right hand. They are framed by trees. Beyond is the Sun Pavilion, with groups of people sitting in deckchairs in the sun, enjoying a concert. 790 x 1200mm.
