Watercolour, The Granary at King's Cross, by Lewis Cubitt, 1851. Depicts the canal basin and the Great Northern Railway granary with adjacent warehouse buildings, railway tracks and transit sheds. There are barges in the basin, and wagons are being loaded and unloaded in front of the granary. This watercolour was exhibited by Cubitt, the granary's architect, at the Royal Academy in 1851. Framed and glazed. Frame is not original.
