Painting, oil on canvas, Menai Straits from the Tubular Bridge, Euston - Holyhead Line, by Norman Wilkinson, about 1930. Depicts the view across the Menai Straits from the Britannia Bridge, looking towards Thomas Telford's suspension bridge, built in 1826. In the foreground is Red Weir Island (Ynys Gored Goch). The bridge is framed against woodland and in the background are mountains. Original artwork for London Midland & Scottish Railway poster, one of a series depicting views from carriage windows. Framed, unglazed.
