Painting, oil on canvas, London, Midland and Scottish Railway 4-6-0 Patriot class locomotive number 5517 hauling a freight train, by R.B. Hugill, after a photograph by W. Hubert Foster, 1974. Depicts a threequarter view of the locomotive hauling a train of goods vans and wagons, passing beneath a brick overbridge. There is a trail of smoke from the locomotive chimney. In the foreground is the adjacent track. Signed and dated at bottom right. Framed, unglazed.
