Wash drawing by Richard (W?) Saunders, February 1853. Stephenson's Patent Locomotive Engine. 'Long boiler' 2-2-0 No. 12 'North Star'. Built by Robert Stephenson & Co., works no.323, to 5 foot gauge, delivered to Northern & Eastern Railway December 1841. Presumably rebuilt to atandard gauge 1844.
