Poster, British Railways (Southern Region), Greenwich by Pieter Huveneers and Reginald Montague Lander, 1958. Coloured lithograph depicting the bow and figurehead of the Cutty Sark and an inset illustration of the Queen' s House. Title and Huveneers' signature at the top. Text below reads "The 'Cutty Sark' - the last and most famous of all the clipper ships" The inset illustration is captioned "Queen's House, National Maritime Museum, housing VIth and VIIth (sic) century maritime pictures, models and relics", signed "Lander". At bottom left is the British Railways Southern 'totem' logo and at right the text "The National Maritime Museum and the famous 'Cutty Sark' are well worth an afternoon's visit when you are next in London. Maze Hill, the nearest station, is only 15 minutes from Charing Cross by a half-hourly service of electric trains" Text in the bottom left margin reads "Published by the Southern Region of British Railways.
