Poster, British Railways (Eastern Region), 'Butlin's for Holidays' by Mervyn Scarf, about 1952. Coloured lithograph depicting a young woman in a swimming pool, dressed in a yellow bathing costume, catching a red beach ball thrown to her by a young man. The text advertises Butlin's holiday camps at Ayr, Clacton, Pwllheli, Skegness, Filey and Mosney and at the bottom is a blue British Railways 'totem' logo. Text in the bottom margin reads "Published by the Railway Executive (Eastern Region), PP 7183, Printed in Great Britain, Jarrold & Sons Limited, Norwich." Format double royal.
