Coloured lithograph depicting a Clyde scene with Cloch lighthouse at Gourock in the foreground as Caledonian Steam Packet Company's pleasure steamers, ferries and small boats pass, with mountains and a hamlet in the distance. The illustration is accompanied by four paragraphs of text, beginning "The wonderful estuary of the Clyde, with its islands, sea lochs, mountains and bright resorts is one of Britain's premier holiday areas".
