In the foreground is the shore, with small trees on a rocky outcrop, and a woman walking along the beach carrying a basket. At the water's edge a boatman is pushing a rowing boat off from the shore. Text below, with the letters "LMS" on the left side, and the company crest on the right. One of a series of sixteen posters by members of the Royal Academy commissioned by the London, Midland & Scottish Railway in 1924. Format quad royal.
