Coloured lithograph in black white and red, based on a linocut, depicting the west front of a cathedral, with figures in historic dress approaching from the left on foot and on horseback and figures in modern dress approaching on foot and with bicycles from the right. Three birds are flying at left, and three aeroplanes at right. In the background a bus, cars and a steam locomotive are visible. Printed by McCorquodale & Co Ltd.
