Poster, British Railways (London Midland Region, Trains of our Times by Vic Welch, about 1950. Coloured lithograph depicting three trains running alongside each other on the main line near Bushey in Hertfordshire. At left is a Class 5 4-6-0 steam locomotive in black livery, alongside diesel locomotive number 10000 in black and silver, with a suburban electric train in malachite green, with "Watford" on the destination board. Beneath is a descriptive text, with the British Railways 'totem' logo in black on either side. Text in the bottom margin reads "Published by the Railway Executive (London Midland Region) L.M. 1849. Printed in Great Britain by London Lithographic Co. S.E.". The bottom corner is lost. Format quad royal, 50 x 40 ins, 1270 x 1016mm.
