Poster, London & North Eastern Railway and London, Midland & Scottish, Lowestoft, it's quicker by rail, by Kenneth Shoesmith,1930. Coloured lithograph depicting the entrance to the harbour at Lowestoft. Fishing boats with red sails are leaving the harbour, one of them called the 'East Anglia'. A trawler enters the harbour, while tourists sit in pleasure craft at the pier. Holidaymakers walk on the pier and watch the boats. There are pier lighthouses on either side of the harbour entrance. Accompanying text promotes an illustrated guide available from the town clerk and LMS and LNER stations. Printed by Jarrold & Sons Ltd., Norwich & London. Format quad royal.
