Poster, Southern Railway & Great Western Railway, 'Jersey, The Sunny Channel Island' by Adrian Allinson, 1947. Coloured lithograph depicting the view over fields towards Gorey, the harbour and the castle of Mont Orgueil. In the foreground are two Jersey cows, and a farmhand leaning on a stone wall talking to a young blonde woman in a red dress. A farmer ploughs a field with a plough drawn by a white horse. Beyond are houses and the harbour, with the castle set against a blue sky with white clouds.
