Poster, Midland Railway, Tourist Resorts in the Peak of Derbyshire, about 1903. Coloured lithograph depicting five scenes in the Derbyshire Peak District. At the top is a large illustration entitled "Midland Express through Monsal Dale" showing a Midland Railway passenger train crossing Headstone Dale viaduct. Below is "Peveril Castle & entrance to Peak Cavern, Castleton"; in the centre "Mouth of Peak Cavern" showing a path leading to a cave; at right "Eyam Cross & historic cottages" showing a seventh century Anglo Saxon cross and old cottages"; at the bottom is Hathersage, depicting pack horses crossing a bridge with moors in the distance.
