In the foreground is the main street of cottages with red tiled roofs, and two carthorses drinking from a pond. At the top of the hill is St Mary's Church. Caption at bottom left of the illustration reads "Kersey (Nearest station Lavenham) and there are British Railway 'totem' logos on either side of the title. Text in the margin reads "Publlished by British Railways (Eastern Region) P.P.1186". Part of the See Britain by Train series. Printed by Waterlow & Sons Limited, London and Dunstable.
