At the top are the letters "LNER" in a lozenge, with the words "Air Raid Shelter" below. Beneath are blank lines, to write in the location of nearest air raid shelter, and position guides for direction arrows (1987-8993 to 1987-8996). There are instructions on reverse on how to complete poster, which would direct "passengers from danger to safety".
