Poster, London and North Eastern Railway, Scarborough, Tunny Fleet at Scarborough, by Frank Mason, about 1935. Coloured lithograph depicting three large yachts, a sailing fishing boat and holidaymakers in a rowing boat at night, with Scarborough Castle and the harbour lit up in the background. Features yachts which visited Scarborough during the 1930s, when the town became a destination for sport fishing with the arrival of shoals of tunny in the North Sea. Accompanying text reads "It's Quicker by Rail" and "Full information from any L.N.E.R. Office or Agency". Format: double royal. Dimensions: 40 x 25 inches, 1016 x 635mm.
