A pastiche of a typical holiday poster, showing sunbathing couple and a small child contemplating recovering a ball from a fenced off minefield, with signs reading "Danger, Mines". Text reading "'Take Care! All minefields have not yet been cleared but they are clearly marked" covers text reading 'Holidays by the sea ...' and a small red sign at bottom right reads "Teach your children beach-sense." Stamped 'L.N.E.R., authorised for exhibition on L.N.E.R. Company's own boards, Advertising Manager, NE Area, York.' Printed by Nathanial Lloyd and Co Ltd, London, SE1; published by His Majesty's Stationery Office (51-1579). Format: double crown. Dimensions: 30 x 20 inches, 750 x 510mm.
