Poster, British Railways (Southern Region), 'Festival of Britain, Day Return Tickets to London from this Station' by F H Coventry, 1951. Illustration depicting a view of the River Thames from above the Houses of Parliament, looking down towards the Festival site on the south bank, with the Festival buildings highlighted in bright colours, and including Waterloo and Charing Cross stations. Text reads "Any train, any day. New late trains from London. For the Festival Pleasure Gardens travel by Southern Electric to Queens Road Battersea (from Waterloo) or Battersea Park (from Victoria)" and includes details of services to and from Tunbridge Wells, Sevenoaks and Tonbridge.
