Poster, British Railways, North Eastern Region, See Northumberland by Train by Reginald Montague Lander, 1962. Coloured lithograph depicting views of Northumberland attractions and activities. These include Bamburgh Castle, Hexham Abbey and Hadrian's Wall. Also featured are a golfer, a woman splashing in the sea and holding a beach ball, a fish on a line to represent angling and a tug in a harbour. A diagram of railway lines between Carlisle, Berwick and Newcastle runs horizontally and vertically alongside the illustrations. Format double royal.
