Poster, British Railways (North Eastern Region), 'Yorkshire Coast' by "B" (John Bee), about 1950. Coloured lithograph depicting the fishing village of Staithes. In the foreground two men, one smoking a pipe, lean over a stone wall, looking down on the village below. A woman carries a bucket into a house. Beyond is Roxby Beck, with three fishing boats, with more houses nestling against cliffs by the sea. Caption below with the British Railways 'totem' logo and the words "See England by Rail". Text in bottom margin reads "Published by the Railway Executive (North Eastern Region) R1079, Printed in Great Britain, Jordison & Co. Ltd., London and Middlesbrough". Format double royal.
