Seal die, steel, Liverpool & Manchester Railway Company, on the left: crest of Liverpool (similar to the arms of Liverpool but the liver bird wings are spread), on the right: taken from the arms of the Lancashire family of Byron and later incorporated into the arms Manchester, incorporated 1826.
