Seal Matrix (reversed), South Yorkshire Joint Line Committee. Before any railway company could exist Parliament had to pass an Act of Incorporation, which required an official seal. Our collection includes more than 1,600 seals. Some are the only surviving artefacts from companies that have long since ceased to exist.
